MIAMI - SCOPE Art Show Celebrates Its 11th Year

A show best known for curating some of the most cutting-edge contemporary art today.

Heading down to Miami in its eleventh year, SCOPE Art Show proudly upholds its tradition as the leader of creative R+ D for a wider audience of taste-makers who make art their business. In addition to its international selection of 80 contemporary galleries, SCOPE will present a breath of special programming, highlighting the thematic understanding of history in art.

An opening night performance by CHOKRA (see image below) explores the history of storytelling, while employing the use of fireworks, exploding pigments, and dance. The week of SCOPE Miami will provide a dynamic survey of contemporary art happenings that are not to be missed.

Running concurrently with Art Basel Miami, SCOPE's Midtown Miami venue is located right in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District. And it's just steps from The Rubell family collection, Margulies Collection at the Warehouse and Goldman Collection.

The fair opens to Press and VIPs on Tuesday, November 29th, with the exclusive First View benefit and invitation-only Opening Night Reception at the Mondrian.

SCOPE runs from November 29-December 4, 2011. For tickets and information, visit the SCOPE Miami Page.
